Voltex Lighting was formed in 2001, when Voltex (Pty) Ltd acquired the Lascon range of luminaires. Voltex Lighting was therefore the first specialized division to be formed in what was previously a dedicated wholesale operation. Voltex Lighting markets and distributes a complete range of commercial and industrial luminaires, but more importantly has established itself as a leading energy services company, using the latest energy saving technologies in electronic ballasts, lamps and lighting systems. Complete projects during the 2006 calendar year saved approximately 30 megawatts in power when compared to conventional systems.
